Invalid Directory?

This is where my sh4 is installed:

C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Silent Hunter Wolves of the Pacific

When I try to install the 1.4 patch on Win 10 I get this message, Invalid Directory. http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/images/icons/icon8.png Is there a workaround for this?

Well, since you have Windows 10 that is an INvalid directory not an inVALid directory:D:D:D

The solution is to install SH4 somewhere outside your system "protected" Program Files directory. Make a root directory c:\Ubisoft\Wolves of the Pacific and install it there. Your game will work as intended now.

I remembered I also had a copy of SH4 with the U-Boat Missions disk. So I tried that and it installs properly.
If it would help and I can post a copy of my Ubisoft game folder prior to my starting the game I will. I wouldn't know how or where to post it though. On the Forum, somewhere or wherever?
