Ending patrol

I have docked in the sub pen and the anchor icon has come up but when I click on it the only options that highlight are refit and postpone not end patrol.
How can I resolve this?

Check your map....you probably missed the message from Karl telling you that you've been assigned to a new base. Look for the little sub symbol to tell you where your new home port is.
