CTD Runtime Errors Etc Help Needed Reinstall

Hiya's,

Had a few years from the sim, got back into it a few weeks ago

On launch day i got 2 copies, for my bro and myself

I only ever had a videodriver not reponding problem coupled with the usual newbie modsoups .............

So i came back, realised how much things have moved on and got well into things

So after 2wks of anguish i'm going to try to show what i have been doing, in the hope someone can show me where i'm going wrong or what i'm missing ........... (old uk saying, can't see the woods for the trees, comes to mind)

I have now got past the c++runtime errors and msvcr90.dll errors

I just seem to have
A:CTD as i finish the baltic 1st mission (open horizons 2.5 with the patch installed right after it)
B:Looking in windows errors i see random ati driver errors with the odd bex or apphangB1 erros
C:Using TDW's Dbgview i see the last line or 2 are connection errors

I really am at a loss, i must be missing something obvious or blindly doing the most foolish sequencing of things

ps: i will rethink and ammend this post if i realise i've missed bits of the sequence out

pps: Order of doing install .........

Sh5 installed, i got the patch saved so patch it
Then sort uplay and leave it in online mode
Go into game settings twice to sort video/sound etc
Start plain career and do tut (exit game after green ok and animation stops)
Install as standalone generic patcher and adjust to liking (to match .py in viewer)
Install jsgme and add mods
Sort options viewer as per matching patcher (i have tried shortcutting from within the folder in ui and also as a folder inside jsgme which stays in jsgme but on the left side (unused or whatever you call it) (this the problem ?)

Then start fresh open horizons 2.5 career, and do the first mission like 50 times lmao (maybe more over the passed fortnight) get to kiel or maybe before and ctd (read above hehe)

Annoyed, but it's gotta be me doing something stupid
