Default What is "kiddy factor"?

The patcher talks about removing "kiddy factors" for various things.

What are "kiddy factors"?

I notice that also, yesterday. I assume it turns off the default easy mode SH5 has for things and enables a more realistic and hard mode.

That's polite name for the stupid and idle code written by developers

So what is the effect of removing "stupid and idle code written by developers"?

What is actually accomplished?

Do you have a link? I have found several threads on the patcher.

Thanks. I have been to that thread, but I have not made it through all 101 pages yet.

I did a ctrl+F kiddy on the first page and got no hits though. I did a "search in thread" and found this:

I call 'kiddy factors' any code that reduces the chances of failures and/or events from happening. Majority of the time these 'kiddy factors' severely reduce the chances of you encountering any type of failure and/or event. These 'kiddy factors' make the game gamey and take away from the realism
