Rough seas

Can anyone help please, using nygm 3.6d and sh3 commander and i never get really rough seas like used to in gwx, i donot really want to change back to gwx, any ideas how i can get random rough north atlantic seas please?

NYGM 3.6 contains a replacement file 'envsim.act', which controls the weather. The replacement file contains alterations to the code which controls the wind.

The original file envsim.act supplied with SH3 has been criticised endlessly at Subsim for its failure to terminate wind-induced storms within a reasonable time. Storms can go on for weeks with the original game, and the devs admitted long ago that there was a bug in the weather control code.

If you feel that NYGM's weather control gives winds that are too tame, then you have two solutions:
1. Replace the new file envsim.act with the original SH3 file of the same name.
2. (Better.) Replace the NYGM envsim.act with H.sie's file of the same name, supplied with H.sie's general code patches for SH3. It is not necessary to apply all of H.sie's code patch (although this will certainly improve your SH3 game, fixing several other code bugs too).
H.sie's envsim.act uses a different code fix from that of NYGM. The H.sie fix allows the original dev's SH3 weather, but forcibly terminates continuous storms after they have continued for too long, by reintroducing new random weather.
