SHO SH3 Water in SH4?

Hi all, I play on an older laptop so when i'm on SH4 i dont usually get more than 20fps,however in SH3 it is perfectly fine. are there any mods out there that can increase fps? (Such as making the SH4 water look less good) Ive already tried tweaking the .cfg file.
Thanks all!

Change all your video settings to low and start from there. A mod really isn't going to have any effect on your FPS.

You might try GFO (Game Fixes Only), or even RFB (Real Fleet Boat). Later mods like TMO would probably create more of a strain on your system.

I don't think any mod or changes would make it better for you other than what you've done. I guess it's possible to degrade the filter settings more, but not sure it would give you anything. The stock game basically sets the game as graphically low as it can and even then with the min specs you get a slower game. Most every mod has graphic improvements, which would add some strain, not improvements...
