My daughter and I have begun watching this British historical melo-drama, and we love it. It really is well-done and the actors are wonderful. It's a great pleasure for me to see Elizabeth McGovern in her silver years, she still has that twinkle in her eye. The actor who plays Lord Grantham is also very regal and convincing. We are really taken by Mr. Bates and Anna and their faithfulness. Great stuff.

Aye, I know it's a soap opera, and at this level of quality, I go in for it. We are at Season 2, ep 4 and the war is in its final year. No Spoilers Please
