I hit the Q01B QShip from Merchant fleet mod with 4 Torpedos midships and half my deck gun ammo.It did not sink.Realistic sinking times enabled in options.
Also it seems to be a lot harder to sink ships with two torpedo hits. Is this correct?I usually have to finish them off with my deck gun. ![]()

I use the MFM, and about half of my sinkings are 1 torpedo hits. I try to hit them under the forward mast, letting their forward momentum finish the job for me.

Thanks Gentlemen.
Yes when the ship has some forward momentum its a lot easier to sink it with a hit in the forward part of the hull.However when the ships engines are disabled it takes a lot longer to sink.
