Default question

Hey. I would like to ask from you to where you can change the time of sunrise and sunset in the program?

Why would you want to do that? I do not know if there is a tweak to do such a thing, but I doubt it. The time of sunrise and sunset is dependent upon where you are on the map, just as it would be in the real world.

I'm relatively sure that this is hardcoded to reflect realworld values based on date time and position and is not alterable.

Why would you want to anyways?

My personal experience is that there is a difference plus 3-4 hours in real time between sunrise and sunset.

You realize that the time used on ship is base time right? In other words, it's not corrected for time zone.

Yes, I have already noticed that the base date and time on the ship there is no difference between people wherever they may be. SH3 But why does it work?

But apart from this, unfortunately, so it's not a real change of day, of course, also be enjoyed from the program.

This is just one of several things that worked in SH3 but they broke it for SH4. On the other hand SH4 does many things better.

But it doesn't stop there. SH3 only had Kriegsmarine grids, no latitude or longitude. SH4 has latitude and longitude, which is proper, but when you play the German side in SH4 1.5 you get both. But...SH5, which is strictly a u-boat game, does not have the KM grids.

They seem to keep finding ways to make it worse.

It has always bothered me that there is no way of finding times of sunrise and sunset in the game.

I think in SH3 it was in the weather report. It really comes in handy when estimating times where one might wish to be surfaced whiled being pursued or where a surface contact was made but due to sunrise you might find better luck on an attack while submerged.

Yes, and I looked after him just enough time to ship the wrong time zone changes do not follow ..... otherwise it would be accurate sunrise and sunset time.

Thanks for your help!

(a pity that there is no solution)
