Mission Editor

Does Silent hunter 5 come with a mission editor? because I have a folder in the SH5 folder called mission editor, but it's empty, could anyone explain if there is or is not one, or if it's a downloadable program.

Any help would be appreciated.

In the main game folder where the game files are , not the save game folder in my documents .

Yes, it does come with a mission editor. Just go to C:/Ubisoft/Silent Hunter 5, and you'll see a program called Mission Editor 2 (

). Click on it, and begin!

I have done a Tutorial mission (A guide on how to make a scenario), and I followed it exactly, but it says "ERROR: Player's unit U-999 exits the game before mission start."

Any reason behind this?

yes - make sure the date of the mission matches the date of the units. Not all units were available through the whole war

So change the misson date or pick a new unit
