Breaking News..

http://www.heraldscotland.com/news/h...ies.1356538062

Gerry Anderson the creator of Thunderbirds, Captain Scarlet, UFO & Space1999 and many more shows has passed away. What a sad day for those of us who grew up watching his shows.

Noooo!

I'm just now onto the last DVD of UFO which I'd never seen before. Great show to enjoy these days.

A shame indeed, as a child I enjoyed his shows for the action and adventure, but when I watched a couple of them again as an adult I marvelled at the attention to detail furnished in the models and shots.

R.I.P. Gerry.

I loved all his shows way back when I was growing up. You did good and will be greatly missed. It's too bad kids today aren't able to see his shows on tv. I've not seen a one replayed in over 30 years here in the USA. And no, I don't get all of the fancy cable stations that do replays of old shows.
