The problem I have is that they exist at all. While those distinctions are fine for a book, or even a game, for a so-called simulation they lead away from the reality. The concepts and requirements of the "campaigns" have nothing to do with what they experienced, at least from a lowly captain's point of view. For a high-admiral's command point of view maybe, but that would be a different sim altogether.

Battle of the Mediterranean plenty of capital ships to hunt down, convoys, single ships, not far to travel. Its a submariners hunting paradise.

I voted for Arctic convoys. I dislike the travel times but I could care less. There's a certain air of adventure you get from hunting the Arctic circle.

No vote as I haven't even finished Total Germany yet.

Of all listed, my #1 choice would be any campaign you and your crew successfully live thru.
