interesting
May I suggest you to apply a slight sharpen filter on that chrono? The way I see it, it make the impression that it doesn't belong to the picture. |

You can find the chrono in Periscope.tga in data/menu/gui
The needles are same location in chrono.tga. Or just take a screenshot in the Periscope screen. Regards. |

If you are using Photoshop, the Unsharp Mask filter is very handy. I usually leave the threshold somewhere between .5 and 1, and just play with the top slider. It's important not to go overboard with the sharpening, because then it starts looking embossed. Im a designer for a living, and I use this filter on almost ever photo I work on.

Do I lose the ability to use the dials etc. if I use the Leer.tga?
I am currently using the transparent panel which works great but in navigation map mode its awfully white at the bottom and I can't properly see the small white (command) icons over each of the officers (which appear when you click on a officer picture). These icons are there but its a little inconvenient on the eyes. Thanks. P.s' Do I need to just drop the .tga into the relevent texture folder or does it need adding lines in the 1024_menu file or something? EDIT: I installed the Leer.tga using JSGME (I have checked and its present in the \SilentHunterIII\data\Menu\Gui\Layout folder). But there is absolutely no change to my Navigation Map bottom strip (which I believe should have been replaced by the Leer.tga). Its still white as before. So what am I missing??

Whell it's easy actually, go to the folder where is instaled the Leer version, in SHIII directory and see it for your self if you've got it or not, if not go to the Mod enabler uninstall the Mod and install the Leer.tga manually by Grag and drop, or copy and paste mode.... Do no why it's not working since I've made it for the installt. via Mod enabler , and installed that whay also, and it's working perfectlly in my game... ![]() ![]() |

There must be some other step involved, or the Leer.tga goes in some other directory. Please help. Thanks.

if you use Harbour Traffic 147, there's a bug that make the leer.tga not displayed.
