Default Ship Weak Points

Hi all,

Did a search in the forums and didn't find much, but I was wondering if SH5 has weak spots in the ships like SH3 did? I don't really use much for mods besides TDW's New UIs and the better and realistic flotation mods. I just find it doesn't matter where I hit a ship it just doesn't want to go down unless I fire multiple shots in it. (except the liberty cargo which will only take one shot if i hit it forward and it goes down by the nose flooding)

With TDWs FX mod installed (giving damage by fire), I mostly aim for under the funnel = big bang and fire

If you have used TDWs patcher to fix the magnetic detonators, then a keel shot may break a ship in half

I'll have to try the FX mod you mentioned. Looked into TDW's patch, but unfortunately I have the Steam version, so no mag torps for me...

Maybe one day I'll miraculously stumble upon a DVD box version in one of my gaming stores I frequent, but I don't have high hopes as they all seem to have migrated towards consoles...
