Nude IMF chief chases down Housekeeper

The head of the International Monetary Fund was expected to be arraigned Sunday after allegedly chasing a housekeeping employee while in the nude down the hallway of his swanky New York hotel suite and trying to sexually assault her.

Dominique Strauss-Kahn is charged with a criminal sexual act, attempted rape and unlawful imprisonment in connection with the alleged sexual assault on a 32-year-old woman Saturday at the Sofitel hotel in Manhattan.
Attorneys for Strauss-Kahn told CNN he will plead not guilty. The attorneys, Benjamin Brafman and William Taylor, had no comment Sunday on the specific allegations.


The 62-year-old has been widely considered a potential candidate for the French presidency. His arrest early Sunday morning immediately triggered political chatter across the Atlantic.

My question is, in France would this be good or bad for his political career?
