Default RFB Map in TMO? Need Help Please

Hi All,

I like playing TMO 2, but I like the chart in RFB because it lacks depth cues. Can someone tell me which files I need to copy over?

Thanks!

Default

the pull-down map? That's Data\Menu\Gui\UserRadio.dds

but if you mean your plotting table? try this little map-mod http://www.mediafire.com/file/z7gtrg...0map%20mod.zip

Content used from RFB:

Data\Terrain\Data\*.*
Data\Terrain\Pal

Just a fyi - there were a lot of depth info on maps used in the 40's...

Will be back with a link to my revised collection of WW2 maps later

Default Thanks!

Hi Jan,

Thanks! I created my own little (F5 Navigation) map mod using the two directories you cited from RFB and it works beautifully in TMO.

My feeling about removing the depth contours was this: if I did not have a precise "GPS" location fix, then keeping the depth cues would have been fine. But since I can't take the "GPS-accurate" location away, I liked the idea of taking the depth cues away to sort of even the playing field.

At any rate, your guidance worked perfectly! Thanks!

Rick

If you are tired of your "GPS" unit there is a way to turn it off. Check out the Celestial Navigation in SH4 thread. It definately offers a challange.
