Less salami........

I have three minor queries that someone could possible give me an answer on:

1. Somewhere there is a post and a solution to less salami dangling in the Control Room. Could someone tell me where please?

2. Is it possible to get the helmsman to actually steer the boat (when changing course for example), for the sake of some accuracy?

3. I understand there are some limitations to some putting some animated sailors/stokers in the engine room or crew quarters, but there was a suggestion of some inert bodies. Any progress?

4. The Chief Stoker's desk in the Engine Room (FM Int Mod) needs a log, a tech manual or documentation to make it seem factual. Is this possible?

Thanks.

I read about one with more cheese. Myself I think there should be a roll of buttwipe in the head for more immersion.

In einem U-Boot vielleicht Toilettenpapier?
However as the U-Boat service was mainly non-Nazi, perhaps pages torn from Mein Kampf hung on some twine might be appropriate..!!

Anyway many thanks for the information.

There should be no reason of a crash from deleteing the food stuff
from any Sub.
Unless a mod looks for them.
If a mod to reduce the food when fuel is down is used?
Yes, then there may be problems.
Other then that?

DivingDuck implemented this behavior in his OpenHatch mod.

Ja! I like a Toilettepapier with pages of MK and reproductions of the pictures (the "art") of AH...

I read in diverse books of memories of U-boats commanders, in the last years of war, the fresh food was finished weeks before the return to bases. In many occasions, the fuel supply U-boats charged food for the attack U-boats, but in 1944-1945 frequently that was impossible.

In a recent campaign in SH3 plus GWX, I make a patrol to Caribbean, and return to base after five weeks with those bananos and salami in the control room...

Regards.

It is really simple with Silent 3ditor - open file "NSS_Uboat7_CR.dat" and the options that you seek are in "Interior root - COMMAND ROOM" branch - there are e.g sub-branches "Node - banana_00", "Node - DMY_Salami" etc, you can preview them in "model preview", so you know what you are deleting - just delete a branch responsible for this or that salami banana or other food.
It would be best if you did so: firstly look in "clean" GWX file (eg. NSS_Uboat7_CR.dat without all those food) for food branches - those old branches are also in new file with food, and it would be good if you didn't delete them, because I've found a crash deleting one of them. All the rest of food you can delete. I've done so in DD_OH_V3.09, and its great - no food, no crates
