Default I finally uploaded my first file to subsim a single DWX scenario

UPDATED

I made a hard version of the same mission to give player who like additional challenge something challenging to beat(If you win this one you're either lucky that not more enemy spawned at the start of game or a very capable skipper)

http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/down...o=file&id=2837

v Hard Sept 28th 2010
The purpose of this version is to increase the difficulty such that player would appreciate
making it to the finish area and successfully completing the mission. This means the difficulty
has been raised a notch to better reflect the Allies forces attempting to enforce blockade
in and out of the Gibraltar strait to non NATO submarines.

Maybe this will work?

Piggybacking

at shallow depth turning on the high frequency sonar . . .

Could this Cruise ship be the safe ticket out of Gibraltar and into the mediterranean?!

You're the skipper, your call!

Hard version changes
Added more probability of enemy combatant to increase the difficulty more for those who like challenges.
Added more doctrines.
Changes in tactics.
Added more dynamic to enemy order of battle in the scenario for replayability and gameplay

-----------------------------------------------------------------

Other version
Newest Version 2.02

http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/down...o=file&id=2835

v2.02 Sept 28th 2010

V2.02
Fix waypoint for a platform to avoid it colliding with ocean bottom
Made little modification to a single AI tactic

V2.01
Change/fix a report message to better indicate real situation

V2.00
An improved version of the original version to add more challenge and added some doctrines.

A long mission. Use time compression and auto sonar wisely.
You can leave the game to run while doing other things but do not neglect it.

Stay vigilant and Godspeed

Installation
Put everything in scenario folder

Playing it right now. Still in the start.
Good story, seems interesting. I love cold war like missions

I will tell you.

It's quite a long mission the need to maneuver to the mouth of the strait, then actually navigating in the strait and once out of it to navigate to the arrival zone.

I tried to make it replayable by giving much freedom of movement to the AI and give the unexpected to the player and the scenario accommodates both relatively low tension moments and high tension moments.

It could be easier on one occasion but harder the next time one tried it. Just try not to cheat by showing the truth on.

Music? Haven't we learnt anything from "Hunt for Red October" about singing in a submarine?

Thanks Castout for the mission.

Installed mission and audio file. Have not played it yet
When does the music play? during the mission or at the end?
I have the music turned off. I listened to the music file before I installed it. Sounds nice.

Thanks for any info.
