EDIT: Talking to a guy at work a few weeks ago, for years he thought Newfoundland was NewFINland...

To early to predict but certainly at this point the coast will experience storm surge.

We have a Flood Warning down here in Miami, whether it's from the Storm Surge, or the fact that it's pouring around here. I don't know.

Hopefully Earls sister Fiona leaves us alone.

I predict dire warnings and hysteria from the 'news'.

I also predict that the storm will peak at F4 continue its bend to the north east most likely into the shipping lanes but if it does makes landfall at all it will be way up north around Maine.

The mind reels at the thought of a F4 hitting the far north east first of all they are not prepaired for such an event and the thought of all those liberals running around with their hands in the air looking for 'assistance'. Could make Katrina look like a bubble bath.

If a F4 hit my area (Chesapeake Bay) my home would certainly be underwater. At any rate and to be sure....FEMA is on the move already.
