I think your wrong. Bush would have listened to the will of the american pepole instead of committing political suicide.

Once again, you have witnessed the voice of the people. The seat went to a Republican. A seat that was Ted Kennedy's for decades. Seems the tone is disapproval of the administration and congress as a whole. As far as ramming it down our throats, that is what got them here to begin with. Effectively Obummer and co are drafting a Democratic defeat in the next elections.

Bah, they all have selective hearing and do as they see fit. If they do things you (speaking in generalizations) like, it's the voice of the people, if not, then they are reckless fools that ignore the people. I personally believe they all try to do what's best as they see it.

While I won't speak to spineless - he sure does have an odd reason for why Brown won...

Quote:

So let me get this right Mr. President... Its George Bush's FAULT that Scott Brown got elected in Mass?

Ya'll know the saying that someone has "gone off the deep end"? Well, I get the feeling that a number of liberals right now are making the deep end - even deeper....

Not possible! I'm sure conservatives dug it as far as it could go already.

You got all of that from a state election? I remember when local elections were about local issues and not a showdown duel to the death referendum on the entire state of the country.

I think you all are ascribing way too much significance to this.

Mookie - I hope that the current leadership of the Democratic party sees it the same way you do. If so, they will no longer be leading the Democrats after the mid-term elections this year, or at least their hold on the rest of their party will be further weakened.

The current leadership of the left isn't just left - its what is termed "nascar" left - or "when in doubt - turn left again". That isn't what the country wants, and when the rank and file of the Dems see that, they will retake control of their own party and be able to again also offer palatable alternatives to the full electorate.

I think you misread the Dems. Most of the tried and true backers are mad because they're not left enough.

Ted Kennedy had that seat for decades. DECADES. That state is a blue as it gets. And yes, I got that and not just from this election, NJ and VA we experienced the same thing. Obummer is befuddled. The country is discontent with the likes of Pelosi and Co. Obummer happens to be the leader of it.
