OMG look at that sweet u-boat pen footage! Still no crew topside on the u-boat though. Thats the only thing missing in the pens.

That water looks awfully rough for inside a u-boat pen. It's an old complaint of mine that the water in the harbors isn't any smoother than that out in the sea, when that's what harbors are for. You'd have to have a real storm for the water inside a bunker to be that rough.

Also noticed that the crew sheet is half in German and half in English.

Thanks for showing these, Mikhayl

Why is the dwarf's beard highlighted?
It looks like a separate clickable object.

Something is moving in Olaf's beard.
1. Tell him to go see the doctor (+2 sanitation).
2. Order him to shave it off (-5 morale).
3. Dont say anything, go tell the rest and have a laugh at him behind his back (-10 respect).
4. Nevermind.

Interface is way too clean and arcadelike, at the risk of sounding like a broken record. But we are assured it's a moddable, DRM permitting.

The rest is actually very exciting, and impressive. I can't read German, so I can't tell what's going on, but I presume they're preparing for a patrol? Though Dowly's interpretation could be just as valid....

You know, in all seriousness, the potential here, if the game is as modable as the Devs say it is, is huge....if we are prepared to wait.

If the modders spend about a year getting rid of all the cheesy nonsense aimed at the casual gamer, in addition to adding the necessary campaign layers in order to finish the game in 1945, then in about March 2011, we should be able to buy the game for about $10, not have to log on to ubisoft's servers in order to play it , add patch 1.4 to fix it, and then mod it to taste.

Aye, like I said in the UbiTV thread (click!, it would be awesome to have the possibility to add, for example, bar to the base (if the game alreadt doesnt have it). Would be nice to chat with other Kaleuns about the war and stuff.

Me neither but that highlighted line under Olaf's clickable beard looks a lot like "Hallo, grosser Junge!" which my brain wants to tell me is "Hello, big boy!"

That's sure putting a whole new spin on "crew interaction"...
