i think the recog manuals 5.4 meters (at least for me using GWX3 and SH3Comm.) are wrong. i fired five fish at one, two went under and did not explode set to 5.9 meters, one went under and did not explode set at 5.4 meters, explosion came on hull on 4 meters...
anyone knows the real draft? |

Magnetic torpedoes are notoriously unreliable in the early years of the war. Perhaps this could be the case?

5.4 meters seems too deep for a Flower.
At the depths you have described would not hit square on the hull. Perpendicular mag, if they exploded would be on the other side of the vessel.

no, its late 43, and no explosion, i could clearly see (as i like looking at things underwater) with the external wiev how the torp passed waay under the corvette despite it being on the lowest part of its sea-heaving...
my guess would be like 3.8 metres or somehting... |
