Saw just 5 youtube movies on the sh3 forum.
There was told the following that has to be made in shv. - destroyers went out of fuel and or out of ammo so they had to give up and had to go back to their base after chasing uboats. That are 2 good points i thought.

Ive been pinned down in SH4 before and the DD's ran out of cans, yet they stayed around for a long long time seemed like days.
Eventually I was running out of air and had to come up. Evidently they dont accept surrenders either.

Just took a look at one of the DD's in SH4. They have unlimited range/fuel! This is due to the lack of the Ranges array that are present in the submarine sim files. I really do hope that this is something that is changed. But this could be like this for a reason. Imagine if all the AI ships ran out of fuel and were stranded in the middle of the ocean!
