It does not keep screenies. I had to got to FRAP.com and get a small program to do this. It works great BTW. I like it.

I may have got entirely the wrong end of the stick here, or missed something obvious, but if we're talking about SH4, my copy takes screenshots with Ctrl-F11, and it stores them in the main SH4 directory as (ridiculously enormous) BMP files.

Did I miss something obvious?

:hmm:

Mine never did work. I did the old Ctrl/F11 and nothing. I like FRAP better anyway. It has more features.

Ya definitely want to convert those .bmp files over to .jpg to save space when posting.

As we discover another undocumented keyboard command... Has anyone put together a list of all of the those that aren't in the documentation?

It's not undocumented.

Hit F1 and go to "Other Controls".

It's there, and it works fine for me.

So let me get this straight...

hitting the PRTSCR button on the keyboard doesn't work? (doesn't save it to that folder?)

Is CTL-F11 the 'photograph' command? 'cuz I thought that only took a snapshot of what the periscope was looking at?

When doing a photo recon mission, you'll get an illuminated "camera" icon on your Orders bar ... clicking on the icon will take a "periscope" photo. Screenshots, on the other hand, can be taken from any view ... use the NumPad "Del" key to get rid of the Orders bar for an unobstructed picture.
