Start of war patrol Grid

Anyway so im starting a new one, first flotilla, Type IIA, I am requesting advice for a good patrol grid to be in at the start of the war. In previous careers Ive tried the english channel and the Irish sea, at the outbreak of war. Both only had light traffic of coastal freighters and such. I only have 5 torps so im looking for the best possible tonnage. However, I will not refuse to sink any enemy vessel that crosses my periscope.

I was thinking of heading down to the mouth of Gibraltar, yes I have the time and fuel to get there. Where do you guys position yourself at the start of the war? I would like to have similar sucess as the sinking of the courageous

Type IIA captain seeking good tonnage before I switch to the VII.
