What ever happened to the one you bought in Houston?

You know.
The one WE drove all over Houston to find?
Ending up in some
'Open All Nite' kind of Drug Mart place
roughly 20 miles from the Motel.

Right now?
Kpt is in his car driveing God knows where
in search of a Coffee Maker.

I hope he's in his slippers with all his dogs rideing shotgun,
and ends up at Wal-Mart.

Where there should be 93 people waiting in line
for the 2 cash registers open
out of the 25 they have.

The 20 items or less is closed of course!

When he gets back?
I'll be peeling onions for a month or so with Fritz!

This is the kind of coffee maker I use. It makes a good coffee and it's very reliable. :rotfl:

I have several on hand. A machine, a French Press and a sock and hot water! My problem is forgetting to restock or is it re-sock?

Good Lord!

I thought you could buy a Coffe Maker nearly anywhere!

But then again?
I remember the
'Great Coffee Maker Hunt'
in Houston.

Kpt is on a Mission again.

PRIVATEEERRRRR!!!! Off to the galley with you!!!

...and it gets WORSE!!!

Upon returning with said coffee maker, I find that my new Golden Retreiver has EATEN my TV/DVD remote a SECOND TIME!!!

So... I leave the coffee maker on the table and GO BACK TO WALMART to buy the SAME TV/DVD CONTROLLER AGAIN!!!

Finally, I return home covered in sweat... (Its reeeealllly hot in Texas during the summer.) to find that the DAMN coffee maker cord won't reach the wall socket!!! SO... I have to tear apart the house in search of a FRACKIN' EXTENSION CORD!!!!

Now I'm watching the pot brew... and the new coffee maker is AGONIZINGLY SLOW!!!...

I think my new Golden Retreiver is laughing at me... and now I'm flat broke!!!

< sigh >

Off to the Galley I go.

But you still didn't answer what happened to
the Houston Coffee Maker.

I'll bet Neal is laughing about that one.

IIRC KL left the coffee maker in the room at the hotel so some Mexican cleaning lady is probably drinking all his coffee.

@KL I think your dog just wanted to watch something other than Das Boot for a change. She's seen it 5000 times now.

Actually, I gave it to Neal so I wouldn't have to lug it around the airports. (I hate travelling with more than one bag. I likes to travel light.)

Now a couple of things...

Buck has apologized for eating my remote again: (I think maybe he was more concerned that he might wind up back out on the streets where I found him.)

As far as the famous Houston coffee pot... I'd like the community to NOTICE that Tarjack and Privateer in the background there... AREN'T HELPING!!!! Its ONION PEELING WITH FRITZ FOR BOTH OF YOU!!! You too Mookie!!! I think its time for an ONION PEELING PARTY!!!

Lazy basums!
