Default Depth charges

A while back, I posted a message on this forum about creating workable depth charges and launchers for the playable ships that have come out. I searched the forum for any messages concerning the depth changes but did not come up with anything. I was therefore wondering if anybody has had much luck with creating workable depth charges. Thank you for your help.

Sincerely,
Walter

Hi again, I am also interested in knowing whether anyone has had luck with adding workable torpedo launchers to the playable ships. Thanks, Walter

Hello Walter,

Depth charges annoyed me the last three days.
The 'throw DCs' command is only for AI units.
My only possibility was the 'advise escort for throwing DC'- Button.
After tests I realized that this is only possible for AI units in Multiplayer mode.

Overwriting the Torpedo or Bubblegernarator contorller with a DC controller braught me to an appcrash.

My last hope was in a torpedo, which looks like a DC barrel and which is setted as a dude.
This means we have the falling DC. My problem is , that I can't work with explosions and the particle genereator until now.

It is possible, that Diving Duck figures something out for his PT boat.

For the ship torp turrets:
I have no problem with turning turrets. This means, when you open the tubes or when you fire a torp, the turrets turn to 90° and then the torp falls into the water.

Not perfect, but it looks much better.

Sounds cool. I hope Diving Duck can provide some more insight.

I wonder if Vickers if he is around can help you with modeling the particles of the explosion.

Hi Xantrokoles,

I was wondering if you have made any progress modeling the particles effect of the depth charges.

Sincerely,

Walter
