I figured I would post this before "someone" else does.

It's interesting, although I have to laugh at the idea of a civil war brought on by "moral degredation". Anyway, please discuss with a little civility. We don't want a flame war here to trigger the collapse of the world's oldest democracy.

There's no way that New Mexico, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and Georgia are going to become part of Mexico and Texas has already been reclaimed by Mexico (at least as far North as San Antonio).

If he thinks New York and New England would allow Kentucky and Tennessee into their union, he has zero understanding of American culture. And Texas would just say screw it, we're a Republic again. We wouldn't have anything to do with Oklahoma.
