Skybird's post about Ridley Scott doing the movie adaptation of Joe Haldeman's "Forever War" got me thinking about my Favorite Five Sci-Fi movies. I'm curious to see what other folks like. Here are my Favorite Five picks: 1. 2001: A Space Odyssey (1968) 2. Silent Running (1972) 3. Fantastic Voyage (1966) 4. The War of the Worlds (1953) 5. The Day the Earth Stood Still.
