Weird Switcheroo

Yesterday, I sent a nice torpedo into the front end of one of those pesky Passenger/cargoes. There was a most satisfying kaboom.

I followed the bugger, waiting for it to sink.
As expected, it was reluctant to go under. Finally, I decided to go out for a smoke and left the game running. On my return, the scope was still locked on the target, which had slowed to three knots and had its snout buried in the ocean.

The problem: It was the wrong ship--a bloody tramp steamer. The passenger/freighter had vanished. No sinking symbol, nothing in the log.

How weird is that?

As soon as all the passenger abandon ship, they can no longer call it a passenger/cargo... Question: did you made the ID yourself, or you have auto ID on?

I know the real truth of what happened to you, Brag.

You were a victim of the new, ultra-top secret, inflatable escape dummies used by the Tommies and Yanks! :p

Or else maybe that Passenger/Cargo was carrying a Tramp Steamer in its hold? :hmm:
