Did you install the game in the "Program Files" folder? If so, either install the game in some other folder (i.e. Games) or run JSGME with administrative rights. I don't have Vista, so someone please correct me on the admin rights if I don't remember correctly.

Default Jsgme

SH4 is in its own folder.

Jsgme work before with vista, before I had to reformatt and reinstall vista,
then load SH4 + 1.5. Game work fine except for Mods.

Tring to have 3000yrs bearing tool to work

Works fine on my pc, had to enable "run as administrator" on the JSGME.exe file in the sh4 folder.

definately a placement issue, open your files and confirm jsgme is in the right place where it needs to be.

if it is, then run it from there and not the shortcut link (it might be a bad link)

Yep, as the others said it does work provided your mod files are correctly arranged. JSGME is actually so clever that it doesn't care what game it's used with, it just moves files back and forth

Look at the file struture of your mods. I bet they look like REL_TriggerMaru_Overhaul_152\REL_TriggerMaru_Overh aul_152\Data instead of REL_TriggerMaru_Overhaul_152\Data

That seems a bit drastic just to get JSGME to work... ...

And if the mods still aren't working..then I suspect JSGME isn't working either...despite all that reinstallation....

It is pretty hard to get JSGME NOT to work...

I don't know what to say..
