I don't think they ever did think that. I think the whole thing was to get money from the Bigfoot "expert" from California by giving him exclusive access to the "corpse".

Perhaps, but they also distinctly claimed that DNA testing would vindicate their claims. It would appear that all they received in the end was world-wide ridicule and an unemployment check. I hope they still feel that it was worth it.

These dopes had a press conferance here in Palo Alto last week or so. But anyone who looked at the mug of that so called bigfoot could easily tell it was a mask. The costume looked like the one Jim Belushi wore in one of his first movies.
