Say hello to my "sloop" gun

I was trying to find a use for the 2000 rounds of amunition that was brought along for the AA gun on my type IIb sub. Since my gunners cannot seem to down a plane before it rattles this can to death...I think I can save the ammo the deck gun has on board for larger tagets, and get a few extra pounds toward my total tonnage.

"Say Hello to my Little Friend!!!"

Doenitz: Ah Bernard what a relaxing afternoon, i never knew how peaceful the Dover Strait was in April
Bernard: Oh look sir there's U-43
Doenitz: Looks like they must have spotted an enemy ship getting the deck gun prepared and everything. Should be a good sight
Bernard: Oh i agree sir
5 minutes later
Doenitz: BERRRRRRRNARD

Default Yachts have radios

I tried the same idea on a yacht, inSept 39. Winds too high to man AA gun, so I says to Bernard flank speed prepare to ram. Turns out yacht had a steel hull and my type IIa just bounced off, gave it a few more tries, both glancing blows before I gave up and beat feet away from the area. I watched as the yacht lazily sailed away, and a short time later I was running for my life from three DDs hot in my tail. fortunately I was in deep water and managed to give them the slip.

Consider yourself lucky. In SH1 if you rammed a wooden sampan with your big fleet boat you sank. Instantly. I found this out the hard way.

Lifeboats don't spawn from the smaller vessels
