Default : Inadverted Help for „Graf Spee“

The other day, I was watching the movie “Panzerschiff Graf Spee” or The Battle at Rio nde la Plata; and suddenly had the idea, why not making a mission out from that event. Giving the chance to alter virtually the outcome of the battle. Let’s say, at the moment, as the german cruiser engaged battle with Exeter, Achilles and Ajax, there were also a U-Boot present in the vicinity. A clean thing to virtually turn at the wheel of time.
I’m not sure, if this idea has been mentioned before or not.

The only problem I see with it is I do not believe there is a u-boat available in 1939 with the legs to make it there and back.

I once made a mission of the Battle of the River Plate during the development of GWX2.1 but never published it.

Also made a one with Graf Spee transferring prisoners to the Altmark. (still have a few pictures of that one)

Further into the GWX development phase, one or two changes were scripted into the game which sadly made my missions nonsensical so there it ended

HW3, you are right in the historical sense, since the Graf Spee left Germany 1939, but long before the outbreak of WW2. Historicallt it would be possible, ocean going U-Boats were not available yet.
could be nice anyway, if a little coup de main could be given to the G.S.

best regards

very nice pictures, The Graf Spee and the Altmark, I guess? did you also use the Heavy Cruiser Salem as model for the Graf Spee?
