Changing Name and Number of Sub ?

I want to change the name and the number of my sub. I have finished 1 patrol and the savegame is IN harbor. The old name of the sub was USS Silversides (SS-236) and the new one should be USS Greenling (SS-213). I found the old name name in the following files of my SH4 folder:

...\data\cfg\playersettings.cfg
...\data\cfg\UPCInitial\ActiveUserPlayerUnits.cfg
...\data\cfg\UPCInitial\CareerTrack.upc

...\data\cfg\SaveGames\00000009\ActiveUserPlayerUn its.cfg
...\data\cfg\SaveGames\00000009\CareerTrack.upc

...\data\cfg\SaveGames\00000009\UPCInitial\ActiveU serPlayerUnits.cfg
...\data\cfg\SaveGames\00000009\UPCInitial\CareerT rack.upc

In all these files i changed the name from "USS Silversides (SS-236)" to "USS Greenling (SS-213)" but always appearing the Silversides.

What must i do to get the sub i want?

Can't remembr what pages it's on, but I think Ducimus has a tutorial in the TMO sticky on changing the sub names and numbers. You have most of it there, but it's been a while since I last changed mine, and I've only done it a couple times, so I can't remember all the files that require changing.

Now I remember, you have to do it where your sh4 configuration file is located from your desktop. It's in the Documents folder. That's where you need to do that one. Not the game directory.

When you locate it in the Documents folder, you will find a Data folder, that's where it is.

Ty for you answer and only: OH, My God
.
I'm getting old. I have several installations of SH4 and with the help of "MultiSH4" i use several folders in my docs. I just did my changes in the wrong folder.

I know the feeling! And I thought it would be sight and hearing that went first.
