Lost my saves

Hi Folks

SH3 has done it to me again. Got a new rig last week, installed Sh3+GWX2 and took to the seas , resolute in my intention to survive to 1945. This time was going to be it! Now, my disk is getting a bit wrecked...cracks in the centre and its only a matter of time before it goes.

I saw SH3 in in a shop today and thought I'd better buy now in case the worst happened soon. Then I thought well, why keep going with my old, original, bought as soon as it came out, disk? I want to keep this one. So I fired in the new one. Copy protection denied me, as I kind of suspected it would.

OK back in with the old one....and then...no saved games. There's nothing in my career folder either. It seems to have wiped them!!! PLEASE say that someone knows how to get them back. I think I already know the answer though....

EDIT: Siince I know the answer I've gone with it - new career started U-51 has run Der Canal on her way to BE31 and has a merchant in her sights

Ta Brag, sympathy helps. Why do we do this to ourselves? I hate this game. But I love it and then it makes me hate it all over again. But I love it!!
