I was wondering where people get the files from to create the texture files (the ones to just put into the texture directory), i know how to extract and recompress the .dat files, but i had a problem with the Type VII (one strip of regular the rest my skin), just trying to get the files to start with, the .dat files are a pain if you want to revert to normal as well.....
any help greatly appreciated! |

You can unpack the data files ( get the .tgas ) add them into a folder named tex, add the correct folder structure (say your sub) with the data/textures/TNormal/tex inside. Then all you need to do is enable it through JSGME...Your sub should show in game

okay, ill try that, i thought you needed extra files, all the ones you download off the net have more files then the extracting brings, but i just realized some of those files are common to the entire series of boats
