Default List of files changed by patch 1.4- from WinMerge

This is a list of files changed by the v1.4 patch. Note it does not give the changes in the individual files themselves, just which ones were changed.

This list is from a report generated by WinMerge

In the zip you will find 3 files. There is an pdf file, an open office spreadsheet and an excel file with only the changes. There is also the original csv file from winmerge with all files listed

The lists are sorted by directory, then by filenames in the directories. The csv file uses comma separated data if you want to import it into a spreadsheet

This should give you a searchable list using any format.

Off the top of your head, does there look to be any unsual file changes or major changes that will affect things like ROW?

Default Another way to look at the changes

Using a different program, I did basically the same thing (unaware that it was already being done:rotfl: ). The program creates an html file that you can view with your browser. It reflects new files in blue and changed files in red. I chose only to show the changed files. You can download the HTML file at http://files.filefront.com/sh4+1+3+a.../fileinfo.html

Now thats something i can sink my teeth into!

edit:

I take it files annotated in red are changed, and blue means a new file entirely.

Default Found one surprise

Interesting. When you fire up SH4 a progrees window opens before the videos.

This window is opened by a new file called gu.exe for which the popup description in freecommander gives:
gu.exe
Description: Autopatch system
Company: Ubisoft
File Version 1.2.2.0
Date created: 11/27/07

Hmmmmm . . . .

Oops. I didn't notice that the folder images are in a seperate folder that needs to be in the same folder as the html file in order for it to be viewed correctly. I'm goong to zip it all up in one folder and repost it. Will get back to ya with the link in a minute.

You can get the complete file at http://files.filefront.com/SH4v14Dif.../fileinfo.html

Sorry about the error. It's a lot easier to read with the images

NEW FILE POSTED!

Crud- didn't notice the data sort screwed up the list in the original download. This fixes the problem and gives you the raw data from winmerge

sensorvisualsub.dat+all sub .sns files modified...guess we have a new visual node for our fleet boats at hand!

Damn, this was NOT a good timing from their part...I'm swamped at work, and g/f is returning after a month's absence. Won't be much time to play/mod SH 4 I guess :p

BTW, excellent work swdw and Digital_Trucker!
