Default Do they have to yell

Hello Captains, Is there a fix for the crew to stop yelling like their dying or stressed out. Sounds like their screaming at top of their lungs. I was hitting these two ships and had some minor damage done to me but ever since then they have been doing this.

Wrong forum, I guess. Try the Silent Hunter IV forums, if what you're skippering is a Porpoise (judging by your sig). If it is indeed SH3, rig for silent running. They'll still complain, but in low voice.:rotfl:

This problem does happen in SH3 as well (figures - it's the same engine lol). Sometimes the crewmen get "stuck" in yelling mode and some or even all of the rest of the mission yelling. Only happened to me a couple of times though. Don't know of a fix, sorry.

Oops, sorry about that. They do yell in SH3 all the way thru the mission after damage. its gets annoying. Thanks!

Yeah, silent running tames them, but the buggers sit down to smoke instead of loading torpedoes

some modder out there could pay homage to Das Boot and have typical dialogue from Ario or from the straight-laced Watch Officer.
