Default [REL] Akitsu Rudder Fix

EDIT: download link in post #4

Hi all, as a little exercise in modelling the objects in SH4 I attempted to correct the CVEAkitsu rudder (when in a turn, the rudder swings 100 feet to port or starboard - completely seperated from the stern).

To do this I used Pack3D to open the dat, I compared the position data of the Akitsu rudder with other ship rudders. Its first set of coordinates were x0 y0 z0, while otherships had real values here.

I then opened the 3D models of the Akitsu and a few other ships and compared there rudder model. The position in wings 3d of other ships rudders was 0,0,0 while the akitsu's was positioned at the stern..

I made a note of the coordinates of the rudder in Wings3D and then moved the rudder model to the center x0,y0,z0. Then imported the model back into the dat using pack3d...

Then..

I opened the new dat file and searched for the rudder node location of 0,0,0 and found it, and changed it to x = 0.0, y = -0.170397 z=-6.984188
....

Booted the game and looked at the rudder...

As you can see the rudder is now attached to the ship during a turn!!!!! GREAT!!!

But as you can also see, I have a texture problem and don't know how it occured or how to resolve it. Why is the model using new textures...

Any help appreciated..

I want to move onto destoryers and maybe moving nodes, objects etc at some point..

EDIT: I think it is the mtl file...
