Default not everyone can HEX edit Werner

I can't see the numbers since my stroke and I know of a few people in here that mod for all of us that have other mental disorders and can not Hex Edit Either. So when we ask someone to do it it's because it is physicly impossable for us. This is why the S3D is a great tool for the handicap.

UUUUUUMMMMMM yep sorry Ducimus is right if there is a tweeker file for it MiniTweeker handles it just as good!

Sorry D and TimeTravler you are right there.

Time travellers tweaker for SH3.
http://www.delraydepot.com/tt/sh3sdk.htm

Works for SH4 too, you just have to have the "tweakfiles" that parse out the hex offsets and data types. That said, If i wasnt so lazy (and set in my ways), id be giving Silent3ditor a try.

Thanks guys,

I got one last night and was able to play around with the DC damage radius. Had lots of fun!

First I turned the max radius down to 5 (meters, I suppose?) from the stock 15. Then I played the Midway mission (I use TM as my main mod), let the ships see me, and then dove deep and took a LONG pounding.

at least 4 DDs took turns going at me, and I was under for 4 hours before they gave up. I'll turn it up to 8 metres for normal play.

Mmmh... stock value was 45 not 15, (same as into SH III) i am wrong ?

I use form game release Min4.5 and Max10, wich still being bigger than real even, works fine...
