Default Where is the Yamamoto?!

I played one of the Quick Missions last night. I think it was the last one or second to last one in the Quick Missions list. You have to sneak into Rama harbour and sink the Yamamoto. I did it, but the Yamamoto was not there. I went way into the harbor and ID'ed all the ships, but the Yamamoto was not there, only freighters and tankers, and some survivors.

Where is the Yamamoto?

It's there. South side of that small harbor. Navigate to dead center of that small harbor and you are pretty much broadside tro it.

I don't see it. I have clicked on each ship and they are all tankers or freighters. I've also id'ed them via the observation periscope, and there is no Yamamoto or any naval vessels at all!!!

You're going to have a damned hard time finding him anywhere after April 18, 1943!

Heheh. He moved his flag among various BBs in BatDiv 1. What SHIP are you looking for, Snako?

The Yamamoto is probably on one of the Betty's that occasionally buzzes you.

Hmm.. Your right! My bad. I've gotten that wrong for years now I guess. Sorry.

I just checked the briefing and the Mission is called Last Targets. The ship is called the Yamato in Kure Naval Base. But its not there!! I don't know what the date was when I arrived. I went straight there pretty much and the briefing doesn't say anything about being there by certain dates.

I did that mission the other day...I found the Yamato moored by the large pier directly south of the objective star in your screenshot.

Maybe it didn't appear in your mission because I'd already sunk it?

Play the stock career game and you should see the Yamato about twelve times before lunch.

Love this game to tears, but as we all know by now, the stock campaign layers need some minor adjustment.

There are way to many of all jap ships (and planes, for that matter). Seriously. You could line them up and walk from Pearl Harbour to Tokyo...
