Default [REL]Transparent Map Markers

Once upon a time I read a post about making the map markers transparent. I thought it might be useful and filed the thought away. Well last night I sailed to the new objective which happened to be covering a small island which naturally I hit and ended a career. For several minutes SH4 was subjected to a one sided PG 13 conversation, then I decided that it eould never happen again. So here is the result. Notice the small square now visible through the gray marker. I left the border of the star opaque for easier viewing.

I loaded a new file with a new set og map markers labeled "Dark Transparent Map Markers" in the zip file. I wasn't happy with the border and I decided to make one Navy Blue instead of a white border.

Thanks ancient46. I never succeeded - kept getting 1024 x 1024 white squares! It's funny, I know what I want to do but a lot of the time I don't know what I'm doing... lol

Trying to figure out S3D now to switch some simple graphics for the gauges in the Gato CR dat but am getting rewarded with CTD's. Guess I'll wait for someone more talented than I am to do that too ;-)

Happy Hunting!
