Successful mission expectations on max realism (minus the external camera view). First patrol, grid AM18, total tonnage sunk 33,500. No deck gun available due to bad weather conditions. Most ships sunk were one fish hits and none took more than two. Returned to base and the crew was awarded metals but NONE for me. What tonnage numbers are required for the captain to receive a medal?

Medals. Do crew members get a benefit from me pining the medal on them? I was not a fan of the crew management system until I ended the patrol and was able to hand out the medals. Very nice.

Credit for delayed sinkage? If you strike a ship and it will “eventually” sink… Do you get credit for it if you leave the area? Or is it a question of… does a falling tree make a sound if no one is there to see it?

Determining the UBoats heading. I’m having trouble reading the numbers on the small and fuzzy directional compass. Is there a way to have the Navigator call out your current heading?
