Default Top of the world?

What happens if you head due north in GWX? Do you sail off the edge of the world or hit an iceberg?

I think you will hit a stone wall of some sort, instead of the ice-cap....IIRC, someone posted a pic of this wall some time ago..:hmm:

Yeh, the north cap is there, but IIRC it´s stone, not ice.

Well theres a mission for me! I will photograph this wall and report back If you dont hear from me again it means there was no wall, it is the edge of the world and U-48 and Kaleun Harry Frank will be the first submariners in space!

Thanks I wasn't keen on it at first but how can you not like having a nappy with a red cross on your head? Gives those Hurricane pilots something definate to aim at

What a shame I was hoping the GWX guys had a bit of fun and have your U-Boat fall of the edge of the map and pop up down under, Good day Australia.

You can sail off left down by NZ and pop back in the right side of the map in the Pacific though

Well unfortunately Kaleun Frank and the crew of U-48 had a meeting with destiny but Kaleun Sperling and the good men of U-49 took up the challenge. And yes the north pole is made of stone contrary to popular belief. It also starts about 600nm from the top of the screen so not a good idea to go racing up there at 1024x tc if your not near the computer. Job done now back to more serious affairs

I wonder what happens if you sail due west:hmm:
