Default Why Not Seprate Forums.

I find it funny that SHIV and SHIII forums are all in the same room why do they have there own Forum space like DW has?
It can only lead to people who are new getting mixed up between the two games.

Just and idea what do you guys think?

:hmm: I suspect that they're together because essentially they're the same game. Well, about 90% of SH4 is the same as SH3.:rotfl:

Anyhow, they're still the same franchise so it makes sense to keep them together. But I do know what you mean.

What I have noticed though is that the SH3 forums are still as active as they always were and how many new people have started playing SH3/GWX lately?

Neal & Co are probably waiting to see how it all pans out. I wouldn't mind if the SH4 forum was separate, that way I could hide it.:p

Basically I believe these are both WW2 type games. Diesel subs. No nuclear reactors to be found.......

I tell you why we keep them together. So that everyone still playing SH3 doesn't feel like they've been ousted.

Indeed. Everyone was getting so worried that somehow SH4 would supplant SH3 overnight. So far though it seems that 3/4 of the SH4 threads are "This sucks" "Will patch actaully fix this?" "I'm going back to SH3 until...".

Keep it as is--both games compliment each other (hehe it is easier to send Gestapo agents over to deal with defectors ) :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

They're separate because they reflect different genres. Also because I don't play modern subsims.:rotfl: (If you believe I have anything to do with what goes on around here besides my big mouth, I've got several bridges to sell you, plus a couple of nice swamps).

Really, I like it the way it is; the two seem to belong together. It seems natural.

Exactly. They're like brother games. They have overlapping communities. As it should be.
