Default GWX and some issues with the ships

Hello there.
Actually I didn't see such a bug, but that I heard from our local forum.
People complaining that in convoy, when you attack 2 or more ships and they go down, after approx. 2 hours new ships are respawned at that place, and they could not be torpedoed, actually could, but it is not mentioned in captain's log that you destroyed it? Is it true?
And second one: to sink small merchant it is needed 4-5 shells to hit under water line. From range 1000m aim (in deck gun) to distance 600m and the shell will go under water, but will hit the ship, and after 4-5 such hits she will go down. Is it true.

From me: I didn't mentioned such behavior and never seen such things.

Never seen such a thing in GWX. Small merchants could be a tough targets but never destroyed them with 4-5 shoots. When a convoy is attacked they all "panic" and almost hit eachother. They are in chaos so its hard to say are there ships respovning. Never seen ship respovn before.

I have never seen a ship respawn after one has been sunk in a convoy. I have seen the convoy 'close ranks' to fill the gaps. Now, there have been instances where a ships icon reappears on the nav map but this usually occures after you leave visual range and receive a radio contact report.(you will see a sunk icon with a ship icon on top) This is a stock bug.

As for the sinking of ships after 3-4 deck gun rounds, this surely depends on what they are carrying and where they are hit. As far as I can tell, things like this a rare and almost random. I have actually sunk a small merchant with one 'lucky' round but that was in beta testing and I'm pretty sure Von put that right.

And so I. I think this is strange behavior but never seen by self eyes. May be thay use another mods with GWX, well I don't know. As for me GWX is terrific, awsome and the cooles mod (after nomograph).

Yeah great mode. i hope SH4 will go the same path. (or maybe SH4 to convert in to SH3:hmm.

Sink 'Em?

Heck today I just made it back to port with not a drop of diesel fuel left... running on electrics....carrying all torpedoes back home...and that was after doing the entire patrol at slow speed to stretch the range of my boat to its limit. Only did 2 or three short distance fast interception races.

Never spotted a valid taget the whole patrol. Almost got run over by a Swedish passenger liner. Avoided a couple of armed patrol tugs. Checked out several neutral freighters and tankers and let them pass. As far as I could tell the enemy had either vanished from the seas or confined himself to his ports.

I'm loving it! Realism 4 stars!

GWX 1.3 truly is a well polished diamond.

I have followed convoys for several days, attacking as often ads possible. On one ,depleted most of the big ships. No indication of spawning.
