Real u-boats only used electrics when running decks awash. Top speed should be 8 knots. Also in real life it was only done when approaching a target, not all the time.

I understand and applaude your reasoning Brag...but Steve is right running 'decks awash' for any length of time would appear a tad unrealistc :hmm:

I agree with both of you. I use the lowered hull mode (not awash) only when I expect airplanes to appear, especially when using deck gun near British bases, or when exiting French ports and still in shallow water.

Meanwhile: In my new GWX career (March 39, VIIB boat) Uncle Doenitz won't let me transfer out of Kiel; saving renown for a IXC sumbie--will look around for some music that pleases you--bado kidogo (it makes manana sound like banzai)

33 to 19 seconds what boat is that? must be an IX boat my does 42 seconds to pd and am happy with that no point in cheating
