berthed ships respawn?

Hey, I'd like to know if you sink a berthed ship at any of the ports, will there be a replacement the next time we arrive at the base? Ok, so maybe not the same TYPE of ship, but something else?

Yes, respawn on ships. You will notice after a while that certain places always will have the same ship in the same spot with exception of a few ports that have the large battleships. Just something I noticed.

Yeh, i recall a trip down to cape town and passing by one of the island ports en route - snagged myself a fiji. On the return trip, there it was again, only i didnt get any renown or credit at all for having sunk it the 2nd time..

What??? You didn't get any credit for sinking it a second time?! Is it because you sank it twice on the same patrol , or did you sink it the 2nd time in another patrol?

Can someone pls confirm? Also, I assume that they respawn in GW too....

Yes, they respawn in GW also. I'm not sure about the renown if you sink the same ship twice in the same patrol. I never attempted to go back after raiding a port because it just did not seem fair play to me. Besides there are plenty of other places to explore and things to blow up!

Pity the British Admiralty house isn't located on the coast, would have been cool to raise the periscope right above Churchill's window.... like in some cartoons
