Default GWX you never cease to amaze me

21 MAR 1941 0835 hrs
BF42 east central

Have encountered Scharnhorst and Gneisenau eastbound after their successful breakout into the Atlantic earlier in the year which has resulted in successful attacks on enemy shipping. Expect their arrival in Brest some time on the 22nd

A most unexpected sighting this morning.

If you like being attacked by blimps, having harbors full of ships coming and going and seeing the occasional whale or dolphin, then I guess it's okay.

And that's my problem as well. Every time there's a new mod I have to try it out at the beginning of the war. Eight years playing SH3 and I've never made it past mid-1940.

I haven't even played SHIII that much.

Does this mean I have to be keelhauled?

I'll second that. Decided to take my SH5 boat into Kiel for a very long refit and ask Bdu if I can return to my old SH3 boat again. I's been a while since I was last aboard one. Amazed to see how far SH3 has come since I last played, so will be upgrading my boat with some of the latest mods. I like FMs New Interior V2.1. It will be nice to be able to roam through the boat, even if you can't interact with the crew. A very nice touch for SH3. Thank you Flatmonkey.

Any other good eye candy that works for gwx aside from the New Interiors mod? Also wondering if anyone knows of a mod for water colour. I've seen some blue pacific water mods but they look way too bright.

Theres one out there with a algea like "green" look to the water. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? The only thing that seems to be missing from my GWX/SH3C experience is staring at my sub lurking at periscope depth. Hate that I can barley see 5m and the other options are baby blue water.

* And would a water colour mod conflict with SH3 commander because of the wave/visibility options available in SH3C?

Well, there's the SH5 water mod. It works even for my install, that otherwise if I even just dare to change a skin has the sea starting to glow and the sky turning dark as if the apocalypse was about to unfold.

Where can I find this apocalypse mod?

Anyway, thanks for the quick suggestion. I've seen some SH4 mods that were way too pacific blue but SH5 water looks nice. Don't what know it looks like underwater from the thread screenshots but I'll give it a whirl. Those storms swells looked epic.
